On Wednesday, November 12, our school honored veterans from our community. Above are those brave men and women who came out to share the day with us. Our event consisted of a slideshow presentation of AES students and members of their family who were in the military. Grades K and 1 participated in a coloring contest while grades 2-4 wrote some beautiful essays. The day ended with a video "Bring him home Santa". There were not many dry eyes left in the building.
